Volunteer in Big Finn Hill Park Sat. Dec 14

Volunteer in Big Finn Hill Park Sat. Dec 14

Sparks flew during our work party to upgrade the Big Finn Hill kiosk base on Saturday Dec 7.  That’s what happens when one uses a pick ax on frozen soil with rocks.  We had an excellent turn out but chopping through the permafrost was slow and the volunteers were very warm.  After we discovered the gravel was frozen into the dump truck and the pile of dirt had a frozen crust, we decided to reconvene on Saturday Dec 14 (9:30 am) if Mother Nature permits.

Please stop by to enjoy the new bench, a solid, comfortable work of art by King County Parks’ John Mabry.  The bench footing is also on the agenda. Thank you all for coming out!   I hope you can make it next Saturday, it is an excellent way to get ready for Christmas parties.
