Comments Open on Short Plat Development – 14216 97th Ave NE

PROPOSAL: James Jordan, the applicant, is requesting a Process I Short Plat Permit to Subdivide a 163,373 sq. ft. lot into 9 new lots in a RSA 4 zone. Lots range in size from 7,600 to 20,108 sq. ft. and will be located on the south side of the stream. A stream, wetland and their associated buffer bisect the property. Access will be taken from 97th Ave NE. The application was received by the City on March 21, 2016 and was deemed complete on June 29, 2016.

REVIEW PROCESS: The decision on this application will be made by the Planning Director. Prior to the decision, there is an opportunity for the public to submit written comments, as described below. The Director will also receive a report from the Planning and Building Department staff making a recommendation on the application. The decision will be based on whether the application complies with Kirkland’s Zoning Code and other applicable codes.
