Community Meetings

A team of volunteers manages the operations of Finn Hill Neighborhood Alliance, meeting monthly to make decisions on projects supporting the organization’s mission, communications, fundraising, and member development. The Board is elected at its November meeting. Any member in good standing is eligible to run for a Board position.

Neighborhood Plan Meeting on Sept 7 Postponed

The calendar of meetings relating to the Finn Hill neighborhood plan has changed. In brief, the City is postponing the open house on the neighborhood plan that was scheduled for September 7 at St John Vianney Church. The Planning Commission will also delay a public hearing on the plan that it had scheduled for September 14. These changes were made by the Planning Commission at its meeting on August 24. The Kirkland Planning Commission will hold a study session on Thursday, April 27, to consider amendments to the Holmes Point Overlay ordinance – the special tree preservation ordinance that currently applies to Finn Hill properties located west of Juanita Drive.
