Holmes Point area does have slopes that are far more susceptible to drainage and storm water problems, flooding, and even landslides and mudslides because of their geology, soils, and hydrology. These landslide pictures were taken on Holmes Pt. Drive, facing southeast. It was behind the first house on the right driving up towards the QFC.

Neighborhood Plan Meeting on Sept 7 Postponed

The calendar of meetings relating to the Finn Hill neighborhood plan has changed. In brief, the City is postponing the open house on the neighborhood plan that was scheduled for September 7 at St John Vianney Church. The Planning Commission will also delay a public hearing on the plan that it had scheduled for September 14. These changes were made by the Planning Commission at its meeting on August 24.
